Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has decided to upgrade its small office in Sukkur to a regional level for boosting exports of local items including dates, fruits, food items, embroidery, etc. According to TDAP official here on Saturday, the Authority was acquiring a larger space for this office at a prominent place so that it can house more facilities including a display centre, meeting and conference rooms and spacious working area.
Sukkur is the major wholesale centre in Sindh where all merchandise come from interior of Sindh and Balochistan areas for trading. TDAP has created two divisions in the country, one looks after Sindh and Balochistan while the second division manages Punjab and NWFP.
