Authorities say a recycling plant has caught fire in east London. A fire brigade spokeswoman says the building is ``100 percent alight.' British police identified the blaze as an industrial fire but gave no further details Saturday. Sky News television reported explosions and a large column of smoke.
A spokeswoman for London's ambulance service says there are no immediate reports of any casualties. Both spokeswomen released the information on condition of anonymity in line with official policy.
