The Head of JUI Maulana Fazal-u-Rehman said that lawyers' movement was now only limited to reinstatement of a single man. He was talking to Imtiaz Alam, Secretary General of Safma here on Sunday. He said endeavours of only reinstatement of Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry should not be linked with independence of lawyers' movement in the Country.
He said dissent of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was the democratic right but due to law and order situation in the Country, security of the country should be kept foremost. He advised both PPP and PML-N to solve democratic solutions of their differences. He welcomed the Swat peace accord and said that rejection of Hisba bill had created terrorism in the Country. He also lamented terrorist attacks on journalists and asked the Government to provide protection to them.
