Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Pervaz Rathore has awarded cash prize and commendatory certificate to constable Amjad Ali for the arrest of a proclaimed offender, who was wanted by Batapur police for 18 years. According to details, the arrested Liaquat Ali was declared a proclaimed offender in case No 141/1991 of PS Batapur on the charge of murder.
Anti terrorist court had given him death punishment. Interim bail of the accused was rejected by court and the criminal tried to escape from the court. constable Amjid Ali arrested him and handed him to the concerned police official. CCPO Muhammad Pervaz Rathore has given Rs 5,000 in cash and commendatory certificate to constable Amjid Ali for his remarkable performance.
