Bosicor Pakistan Limited has posted a net loss after tax at Rs 7,918.195 million in the half year period ended December 31, 2008 as compared to a net profit of Rs 143.105 million earned in the corresponding period in 2007.
The board of directors of the company in its meeting declared that the company loss per share stood at Rs 20.19 in the period under review against an earning per share of Rs 0.37 in the same period a year back.
According to the financial results, the company's net sales increased to Rs 30.121 billion in this period against Rs 9.684 billion in the same period in 2007. The cost of sales increased to Rs 33.435 billion in this period against Rs 9.101 billion. The company's loss before tax stood at Rs 7,933.879 million in the half year period in 2008 against profit before tax of Rs 183.436 million in the same period in 2007.
