Chief Justice Lahore High Court Sayed Zahid Hussain has transferred four district and session judges and also dropped disciplinary proceedings against one judge. Sagheer Ahmad Qadri was transferred from Multan to Jhelum, Syed Ijaz Hussain from Jhang to Multan and Riaz-ul-Hassan from Lahore to Jhang.
CJ dropped the disciplinary proceedings against Riaz-ul-Hassan Alvi who was an OSD at Lahore High Court. CJ also placed the services of Khalid Mehmood at the disposal of Punjab government for his posting as presiding officer, district consumer court, Sahiwal.
