Punjab Governor Salman Taseer has said that the provincial government would reinstate all government servants who were subjected to political victimisation by the former rulers or bogus cases were registered against them or they were made officer on special duty as punishment for not obeying illegal orders.
According to a Governor spokesman here on Thursday, he also said the young doctors who had been suspended would soon be reinstated. He made it clear that the government does not believe in vindictive action and it would be ensured that all the government officials should perform their duties with peace of mind. "The government is committed to maintaining law and order in the province," he added.
