The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has ruled out any possibility of availing benefit from the controversial National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), if offered by the government. Reacting to the statement of the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on possibility of extension of NRO to the PML-N leadership, spokesman of the party said the PML-N could not even think of benefiting from the NRO, as it is a black spot on the system.
The PML-N can not pursue such prepositions, as its struggle is for the supremacy of rules in the country. On Governor's Rule, the spokesman said President has imposed it without prior approval of the Federal Cabinet and Shahbaz Sharif is yet the chief minister of the province. When asked about PML-Q's alliance with the PML-N, he said the party has extended two visible and positive gestures with the visit of both Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif and it is now PML-Q's turn to respond. He said the PML-N believes in democracy and no compromise is possible on Judiciary's independence and Judges' restoration.
