The Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) would organise one-day training workshop for economic journalists here at a local hotel today (Saturday). The workshop is being organised by the SECP in collaboration with Centre for International Private Enterprises (CIEP) and designed to sensitise the journalists about regulatory laws endorsed by SECP.
According to SECP sources, the workshop is also aimed at familiarising the journalists with SECP's important initiatives such as demutualisation of stock exchanges, real state investment trust, mutual funds, voluntary pension system and other such initiatives as necessary for the development of sectors under SECP preview. The Trainers would include senior officers of SECP, having command over the relevant subjects.
