Death toll from Pishin blast raised to six after another injured identified as Syed Mohammad Naeem succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in Pishin. DPO Pishin Akbar Raisani told APP that a suicide bomber blew himself up soon after a certificate distribution ceremony held at local girls seminary.
The target of bomber might be some eminent personalities as JUI-F provincial Amir Maulana Mohammad Khan Shirani along with Balochistan Assembly Deputy Speaker Syed Matiullah Agha and provincial Minister for PHE Maulana Abdul Bari Agha also attended the occasion. They all escaped the blast as they left the ceremony 10 minutes ahead of the explosion but it killed four students present there besides critically injuring two. The deceased had been identified as Mohammad Jallat Khan, Syed Nizamuddin, Abdul Qadir and Syed Bismillah while injured as Syed Mohammad Naeem and Syed Abdul Bari. However, of them Syed Mohammad Naeem succumbed to his injuries, later. Police were investigating the incident.
