Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Monday released 104,500 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded was 56,229 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded was at 1,403.53 feet. The present water level at the dam was 34 feet higher than the dead level of 1,369 feet.
Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 18,400 cusecs while outflow was 43,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1,089.30 feet which was 49 feet higher than the dead level of 1,040 feet.Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 20,329 cusecs while outflow was 44,000 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 10,200 cusecs and 7,300 cusecs, respectively.
