People's Labour Bureau District President, Akhlaq Ahmed Khan Dasti has urged PML-N leaders Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif to accept Supreme Court verdict with an open mind. Talking to mediapersons on Monday, he said that the Apex Court of the country, on the basis of merit of the case, disqualified Sharif brothers who should not resort to agitation.
He also condemned the ransacking of Benazir Bhutto monument at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi. "Democracy is the name of tolerance and affords right of dissent. Peaceful protest is the right of the citizens and political parties but violent agitation must not be allowed as it could lead to political and economic destabilisation", he stressed.
