The Karachi Port handled 123,185 tonnes of cargo including 90,326 tonnes of import and 32,859 tonnes of export, 3,434 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The freights comprised of 65,985 tonnes of dry cargo including 53,896 tonnes of general cargo; 12,089 tonnes of cement and 57,200 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Nine ships namely Tiger Speed, Ben Aicha, Multan, Super Star-III, Iron Butterfly, Mazin Arab, Rainbow and Isara Bhum sailed out to sea during the reported period. Eight vessels viz Isara Bhum, Sea Sky, Sagamore, Shayan-1, Semeru, Stolt Megami, Apl Sokhna and MSC Eliana are currently at the berths. Seven ships namely Northern Harmony, Sea Sky, Du Man Gang, Al-Karim-M, MSC Eliana, Stolt Megami and Blida expected to sail on Wednesday while another four vessels viz Apl Sokhna, Noble Coral, Semeru and Shayan-1 are expected to sail on Thursday.
Five vessels viz Bow Favour, Apl Chicago, Tan Binh 28, Naftocement XV and Noble Coral due to arrive on Wednesday while two ships namely Rising OM and Khalid Ibn Al-Waleed are due to arrive on Thursday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 65,286 tonnes including 53,353 tonnes of import 11,933 tonnes of export cargo and 2,106 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Wednesday. The cargoes comprised of 17,908 tonnes of furnace oil; 7,249 tonnes of palm oil; 482 tonnes of sun flower seeds; 9,471 tonnes of iron ore; 1,128 tonnes of general cargo; 353 tonnes of cement and 28,695 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Five ships namely MT Vidden, MV Bolan, MV Giovnni Della Gatta, CV Maersk Ohio and CV Nedlloyd Oceania sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while two more vessels viz MV RM Dynasty and MV Rosaire A Desgagnes are expected to sail on Wednesday. A total of eight ships namely ACX Jasmine, Young Huan, Jaipur, Nobleses, Eastern Tera, Golden Dominance, Golden Glory and Sea Lion carrying containers, sun flower seeds, cement, chemicals, palm oil and furnace oil respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Eight vessels viz CV Nedlloyd Oceania, MV Bolan, MV Rosaire A Desgagnes, MV Obsession, MV Giovnni Della Gatta, MT Gaschem Dollart, MT Vidden, Al-Mukhtarh and MV RM Dynasty are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, project cargo, sun flower seeds, palm oil, furnace oil and iron ore respectively during the report period.
Three ships, container vessel CV ACX Jasmine, bulk carrier MV Young Huan and chemicals carrier MT Eastern Tera are expected to take berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal respectively on Wednesday. Oil tanker MT Hormone is due to arrive on Wednesday.
