Member managing committee of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Chaudhry Amjad Ali Cheema, said that business community engaged with surgical industry was facing serious hardships due to non-issuance of "Free Sale" certificate by the Ministry of Health.
Talking to reporters on Thursday evening he said that the exporters were unable to export surgical instruments without free sale certificate in various countries as they had made it compulsory but due to unknown reason the Ministry of Health was not issuing the certificate as a result of which the exporter community suffering adversely.
Amjad Cheema said that Ministry was issuing free-sale certificate previously but in recent past this practice has been stopped without any justification resultantly the export of surgical instruments in jeopardy. The non-issuance of sale-free certificate by the Health Ministry to the exporters would not only create negative impact on exports surgical industry but country will lose huge foreign exchange he said.
