A delegation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) senators led by Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on Thursday called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at his Parliament House chamber and discussed development projects in their respective areas. The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities for immediate release of funds for the development schemes in the areas of the JUI senators.
They appreciated the Prime Ministers role in promoting politics of consensus and national reconciliation. Later, they also congratulated the Prime Minister for the unopposed election of Farooq H. Naek for the Chairman Senate.
