Fakhar, Babar latest to join CPL

LAHORE: Pakistan’s opening batsman Fakhar Zaman and middle order batsman Babar Azam have become the latest members of the Champions Trophy winning squad to be drafted into the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2017.

The duo will join seven other Pakistani superstars in the tournament.

The reports suggest both the players have sought No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to play in CPL starting from August 4.

It is pertinent to mention here that, Mohammad Hafeez , Hassan Ali, Sohail Tanvir, Shadab Khan, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Sami, Imad Wasim and Wahab Riaz have already been drafted in the T20 tournament.

Among them Sohail Tanvir becoming the most expensive Pakistani player picked in the first round of drafts.
