Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the PPP will meet on Thursday at President House to take stock of the political situation in the country, said the party spokesperson Farhatullah Babar. In its first meeting after the government reinstated the deposed judges, the CEC will be presided over by the party Co-Chairman President Asif Ali Zardari.
The meeting will start at 7.00 P.M. and will be attended by the party leaders from the four provinces. The president will take the CEC members into confidence on the decision of deposed judges reinstatement. The party will make a new strategy for the development of the country after country had achieved political stability. The party will concentrate on resolving the problems of the poor, who voted fir the party in the last election, according to a party leader.
