Dr Ajmal Psychological Society of Psychology Department of Government College University Lahore will organise International Conference on Culture and Mental Health from March 17th to March 21st at Government College University Lahore. According to the spokesman the inauguration of International Conference on Culture and Mental Health will be held on March 18, 2009.
The conference will be funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and British Prime Minister Initiative Award 2 (PMI 2). The conference which includes five symposia Culture and Gender Studies, Indigenous Research on Schizophrenia and Expressed Emotions in Families, with Schizophrenic Patients, Indigenous Perspective on Positive Psychology, Qualitative Research in Cultural Context and Developmental Psychology.
