Pakistans Embassy in Japan on Monday organised a function to mark the National Day in a befitting manner. On the occasion, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Embassy of Pakistan. Pakistans Ambassador to Tokyo Noor Muhammad Jadmani read out National Day messages from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, said a press release received here.
Embassy officials and a large number of Pakistani community members attended the ceremony. The Ambassador while addressing the function said that investment by Japan based Pakistani can bring a visible change in the economic development of Pakistan. He stressed upon the Pakistani businessmen to invest in various sectors of the economy in their homeland which could usher a new era of prosperity there.
"Pakistan offers tremendous opportunities to invest in different sectors of economy with substantial returns," the Ambassador said and added that Pakistans macro-economic indicators were showing positive results. The Embassy has also arranged a reception which is expected to be attended by a large number Japanese dignitaries, including parliament members, Ministers, academics, journalists, leading businessmen and Tokyo based senior diplomats.
