Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, who is on an official visit to UK, on Thursday visited Royal College of Defence Studies. Chief of General Staff UK Army General Richard Dannatt accompanied the COAS General Kayani during the visit. On arrival at the College, General Kayani was received by Director Defence Acadamy Lieutenant General Andrew Graham and Commandant College of Royal Defence Studies Rear Admiral Charles Style.
The COAS addressed the faculty and students of the college on "Strategic Stability Issues in the Region-Challenges and Way Forward." The talk of COAS was also attended by the senior military officials. Earlier, on Wednesday, an official dinner was hosted in honour of the COAS by Chief of General Staff UK Richard Dannatt at Cavalry and Guards Centre, which was attended by senior military officials of the UK.
