The foundation of Iqbal’s Pakistan has been laid: Imran
ISLAMABAD: Addressing the media after Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said that with this milestone, the foundation of Allama Iqbal’s Pakistan has been laid.
Expressing gratitude over Supreme Court’s decision, he said, “I am thankful to all my supporters and the masses who played a vital role during our campaign against corruption.”
“I pay tribute to the judiciary of the country, especially the JIT members who can rightly be called heroes”, he added.
Khan, who was one of the three petitioners in the case, said, “I don’t have any personal grudges against anyone including Nawaz Sharif.”
The PTI chief announced to hold a rally at Islamabad's Parade Ground to celebrate Youm-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving Day) on Sunday.
