Restoration of Shahbaz government: Supreme Court decision will have far reaching impact on economy: LCCI

Congratulating Mian Shahbaz Sharif on the restoration of his government in Punjab the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Tuesday, said that the decision of Supreme Court would have far reaching impact on the overall economy of the country.
President, LCCI, Mian Muzaffar Ali, senior vice president, Tahir Javaid Malik and vice president, Irfan Iqbal Sheikh in a joint statement on Tuesday hoped that the restoration of Mian Shahbaz Sharif as Chief Minister Punjab would help solve the issues being faced by the masses in general and the business community in particular. They were of the view that the apex court decision would also help ensure continuity in policies which is a key to achieve progress and prosperity.
The LCCI office-bearers said that the apex court verdict would not only bring political stability in the country, but also help strengthen institutional framework, which is dire need of the hour. They said that the chief minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif would have to work with a focused attention towards the security and safety of the people. They said that the improvement in law and order situation is a prerequisite to both the local and foreign investment.
