Chairman Senate Farooq H. Naek has hailed the release of John Solecki, a U.N official, in Mastung, Balochistan on Saturday. In a statement, he said the release was made possible because of the strenuous efforts of the government. He expressed the hope that such incidents will not be repeated in future as these bring a bad name to Pakistan.
He thanked the UN Secretary General for reaffirming the continuing commitment of the United Nations to help the people of Pakistan in tough times.
