Chairman Senate Farooq H. Naek and Deputy Chairman Jan Mohammed Jamali on Sunday strongly condemned blast at Imam Bargah in Chakwal. In their messages, the Chairman and Deputy Chairman condoled with the families of the deceased personnel and sympathised with those injured in the blast.
They said that perpetrators of such heinous crimes have nothing to do with religion rather they bring a bad name to country and religion. They said the government is committed to eliminate terrorism from the country and terrorist elements would be dealt with iron hands.
They prayed for forgiveness of the departed souls and courage and fortitude for the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Defence Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar and Federal Minister for Defence Production Abdul Qayyum Jatoi have strongly condemned suicide attack at Imambargah in Chakwal.
Condemning the attack in their statements, both the ministers said that terrorist elements were bent upon to destabilise the country and create terror and panic. They said terrorists are enemies of the country and humanity and they would not be allowed to succeed in their evil designs.
The Federal Ministers conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved families. Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira and Minister of State Syed Sumsam Ali Bukhari have strongly condemned the suicide blast. They further said that the terrorists were enemies of Pakistan and Islam and people of Pakistan must unite together to give the terrorists strong message that their acts of violence were hated by them.
Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mehreen Anwar Raja have strongly condemned suicide attack at Imambargah in Chakwal resulting in several casualties. In their separate messages, they have termed the suicide attack a barbaric, inhuman and unIslamic act.
They have expressed their deep shock and sympathy with the members of the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of those who were injured in the attack.
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah strongly condemned bomb blast at religious gathering in Chakwal. Talking to a private TV channel, the minister expressed his grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and termed it an attempt to de-stabilise the country.
To a question, he said, the government is taking all possible measures to deal with terrorists in effective way. To another question, he said, the government is planning to establish anti-terrorist force. Rana Sanaullah urged people to show unity to defeat terrorists who are trying to de-stabilise the country.
