Country Representative of UNHCR met the Federal Minister for SAFRON, Najmuddin Khan in his office on Tuesday. She thanked the Ministers as well as the Government of Pakistan for making efforts to secure John Soleki's release.
During the meeting, the High Commissioner of UNHCR talked to the Federal Minister for SAFRON over telephone and thanked for the efforts for the safe release of Soleki. It was decided in the meeting that the Chief Commissioner and Commissioner will provide assistance and monitor the utilisation of funds to be provided by UNHCR for Afghan refugees and RAHA. -PR
