The Vice Chancellor Government College University Lahore Dr Khalid Aftab stressed the need for demand driven, market oriented courses as part of continuous education so that the unemployed youth could be equipped with valuable skills in order to seek employment locally and abroad.
He was addressing the certificate distribution ceremony of National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (Navtec) for the courses of Communication and Media Skills and Graphic Designing offered in collaboration with (Navtec) at GCU. Dr Naila Zafar Deputy Director (Navtec) Punjab Region commended the services rendered by GCU to successfully run this programme. She mentioned that the feed back received from the students was fairly good.
