National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) has recovered a truck, loaded with 212 bags of rice worth Rs 0.6 million. Motorway Police was informed by the truck owner that his truck No SLE-9520, loaded with 212 bags of Rice, had been taken away by his driver while going from Kamonke to Karachi.
On the information Motorway Police stopped a truck without number plates on GT road near Kamonke. On investigation, it came to the notice that it was the same truck. Motorway police arrested the driver and took the truck into its custody. Later on, the Motorway Police handed over the arrested culprit alongwith the recovered truck to the concerned local Police for further legal action and investigation in the presence of the complainant.
