The five-day Safety Management course held at Benazir Bhutto International Airport for aviation officers and men concluded here on Friday. The course was organised by Civil Aviation Authority Benazir Bhutto International Airport in collaboration with the training branch HQCAA and Civil Aviation Training Institute Hyderabad (CATI).
Theoretical and practical exercises were conducted during the course. The course carried 10 Modules including basic concept of safety, strategies for the safety management through hazard identification, risk assessment, mitigation and implementation processes. In the concluding session Muhammad Arshad Malik Chief of ATS School CATI distributed the certificates among 16 course participants.
Muhammad Ayaz Jadoon Airport Manager BBIA on the occasion emphasised the need to continue this training processes for all the managers which aims to help improve the efficiency and working environment. He said that aviation business cannot flourish without taking safety management processes.
