Punjab University administration has decided to organise books fair 2009 from April 23-25 this year. The decision was taken in a meeting held here in the Vice- Chancellors Office Committee room on Friday. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran chaired the meeting. It is noteworthy that the administration is organising Book Fair 2009 like previous one.
Moreover, applications for booking of stalls from publishers and booksellers for PU Book Fair 2009 have been invited and April 18 has been fixed as the last date for submission of applications. All the publishers, booksellers and organisations of computer business have been invited for participation.
The applications could be submitted to Dean Faculty of Oriental Learning and Stalls Management Committee Convenor Professor Dr Muhammad Saleem Mazhar at Oriental College and Chief Librarian Chaudhry Muhammad Hanif at Main Library. Keeping in view the previous years maximum warm participation of students and others visitors, the administration has decided to also establish stalls on the lawns adjacent to the corridor.
