The APLF Chief Executive Officer Michael Duck handed over the award to Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) Chairman Agha Saiddain in a prestigious ceremony that was attended by a huge number of leather importers across the world.
The exhibitors from China, India, Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Argentina, Pakistan and other major countries set up their stalls at the exhibition held on March 31-April 02, 2009 in Hong Kong, said PTA Chairman Agha Saiddain on his return while talking to Business Recorder here on Friday.
Agha Saiddain said that about 25,000 exhibitors took part in the exhibition from all over the world while 50 tanning companies participated in the fair. A variety of leather products were also put on display at the stalls, which not only attracted the world importers but also the Indians who took keen interest in the leather quality, finishing and colour scheme, he said.
