The Province of Punjab is endowed with tremendous natural resources. It is equally rich in mineral resources as in agriculture. In order to develop and promote mineral resources, the Mines and Mineral Department is giving special importance to the development of areas that are rich in mineral resources. An official of the Mines and Mineral Department said on Saturday.
He said that a sum of Rs 50 million is being spent on the provision of electricity in the Mines rich district of Khushab. Similarly, another amount of Rs 43 million is being spent on the construction of 5KM long road in Basharat area of district Chakwal from Chandu village to Sagral village. These schemes would help facilitate the workers and the mine investors.
