Organisation of the Islamic Conference Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Co-operation (Comstech) has launched a Technology Forum for OIC countries. Sources told APP, the Forum would provide an opportunity to all member countries of Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) to offer their endogenously developed technologies to other countries of the Organisation.
The Forum would also serve as an important open tool for the promotion of industrial and technological collaboration and co-operation among OIC member states through sharing of useful technologies for industrial production, the sources said. Comstech Secretariat has offered to member countries to have an easy access to the Forum and openly approach it for any information or proposals.
The countries seeking some specific technology can also contact Comstech Secretariat for routing of their demand to other member states. OIC member states have developed number of technologies over the time and have been commercialised.
