President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his grief over the death of an old person Wali Dad Khaskheli during a hunger strike in front of the Press Club in Karachi. The old man was among a group of farmers from Sanjhoro of District Sanghar, who had set up a camp to press for their demands.
The President directed the Sindh provincial government to conduct inquiry into the incident and resolve the issues raised by the protesters.
