Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Sunday that nuclear assets of Pakistan are in safe hands. "We have been assured that their nuclear assets are in safe hands and I do not want to disbelieve that assurance," Singh said when asked by newsmen in Assam state if Taliban could misuse Pakistan's nuclear assets posing a threat to India.
Singh, who paid one- day visit to Guwahati, the capital of Assam state. in connection with election campaign he said he will cast his vote in Guwahati on April 23 when the second phase of five-phased Lok Sabha polls will be held. Singh is member of Rajya Sabha from Assam.
