Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Tuesday that Britain has given Pakistan Consulate access to seven out of 10 detained students, while one has already been released.
In an interview with private TV channel, he said that the concerned officials of Pakistani High Commission in Britain have already met these seven detained Pakistani students to whom access has been allowed by British authorities. Qureshi said that he has discussed the issue with his British counterpart David Miliband, adding that he has demanded the Britain to initiate a trial against the detainees if it has any evidence or release them immediately.
