Masha Allah Shakeri, the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran called on the Federal Minister for Railways, Ghulam Ahmad Bilour on Wednesday. The envoy discussed with the Minister matters of mutual and common interest in the backdrop of up-gradation and strengthening the rail service between the two countries.
It was agreed that mutual exchange of Railways expertise, training courses and transfer of technology from Iran in this sector would be initiated soon. Iranian Ambassador briefed Bilour about basic achievements in boosting railway infrastructure on modern lines and on behalf of his government, invited the Federal Minster to visit Iran. The meeting also discussed various aspects of strengthening and boosting rail link with Iran and Turkey in the backdrop of trilateral meetings and ECO conference.-PR
