Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled narcotics smuggling bid and seized opium worth billions of rupees in a raid in Pishin, said a statement here by the ANF regional office on Thursday. Acting on a tip-off, the ANF raiding party unearthed 1,270 kilograms of high quality opium, which was dumped in a deserted area and could be smuggled to other parts of the country.
The price of the seized opium is estimated to be two billion rupees in international market.
