The Wapda workers held a demonstration in support of their demands urging the Wapda authority to upgrade pay scales of technical staff here on Thursday. The workers, who assembled outside Bakhtiar Hall, marched towards various roads of Lahore demanding Wapda/electricity workers be given honoraria allowance like Lesco.
They also asked for withdrawal of rise in school fees of Wapda workers' children. Khurshid Ahmed General Secretary of the Union spoke on the occasion in support of their demands.
