A teenager was electrocuted in the limit of Sachal police station on Saturday when a wire of Karachi Electric Supply Company's (KESC) unplanned network broke and fell on children playing in the street. According to details, 14-year-old Aijaz son of Nazir fell prey to KESC's poor wire network when he was playing in the street with other children.
The deceased was the resident of Sachal Goth and was shifted to his home for burial. It is pertinent to mention that KESC's administration could not improve wire network in the area due to which these incidents have become order of the day. Despite several attempts Muhammad Ali Dhambra, SHO Sachal police station could not be reached for comments. Meanwhile, two other people lost their lives in two different road mishaps in the city.
A fast moving damper crushed to death a motorcyclist near Jauhar Mor, Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Ahmed Ali, 23 son of Khursheed Ahmed was killed when a speedy damper ran over him in the limits of Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station. Later, the body shifted JPMC for postmartum. In another incident, a 30-year-old man was crushed to death by another fast moving truck near KPT Gate No 15, Keamari. Later, the body of the deceased was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for post-mortem.
