Mixed price pattern was again witnessed on the wholesale grain and seed market on Wednesday, dealers said.
On the cereal side barley Sindh and Mardan were quoted at Rs 2,250-2,300, wheat old Bardana (with bag) rose by Rs 10 to Rs 2,450 and the wheat new Bardana gained the same amount at Rs 2,465, gram 50x50 was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3,150-3,350, gram Australia was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3,700-3,900, in the meantime, gram dal Australia lost Rs 550 to Rs 3,650-3,850, they added.
Only one change was seen on the rice sector where Irri-6 sindh low type shed Rs 25 to Rs 2,575 and the best type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 2,700, they said. On the seed side cake inferior type was lower by Rs 10 to Rs 700 and the better quality fell by Rs 5 to Rs 710 amid thin trading, other items managed to hold their overnight levels, they said.
