'Plight of farmers to be raised in Punjab Assembly'

Punjab Opposition Leader Chaudhry Zaheer-u-Din said on Thursday that they would strongly debate issue of shortage of gunny bags and non-deliverance of price of wheat to the farmers and their wheat procurement issue in upcoming Punjab Assembly session.
He said that the session would see complete attention of the House opposition towards agriculture issue and plight of the farmers as being witnessed recently. He said Punjab Agriculture was the strength of the country and its current plight was not acceptable at all and would be fiercely debated in the House.
