359 schemes being executed in three districts

As many as 359 development schemes are being executed in the division which will require an expenditure of Rs 544.5 million. Director Development Irshad Hussain said this on Thursday during a briefing to Divisional Commissioner DG Khan, Hassan Iqbal.
He said those projects would be completed in districts DG Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh and Layyah in the current fiscal year. These schemes are being executed under MNA and MPA grants and efforts have been made to solve the development-related problems of the people at their doorstep. Funds to the tune of Rs 496 million have been released for these ongoing development projects and about 40 percent work has so far been completed, the meeting was apprised.
