Pakistan Embassy College Beijing (PECB) held a colourful International Culture Day at its premises here on Friday which was largely participated by teachers, students, parents and diplomats. Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Ambassador to China Masood Khan appreciated the efforts of Principal Sajid Khurshid and staff of the PECB for holding a wonderful International Culture Day.
Ambassador Khan said that children getting education at the college belong from all continents and they demonstrated their culture strength by enthusiastically participating in various programmes. The programmes included variety show and dress show. The college students also sang songs of their respected countries to the delight of a large number of guests.
"This colourful programme shows that Pakistan believes in tolerance and diversity", Khan noted He said it also projected the image of multi-faceted humanity. To highlight the culture, history and cuisine of various countries, stalls were also established on the occasion. Later prizes were distributed on excellence performances in various categories.
