A meeting of the higher authorities of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) was held on Saturday to review arrangements for Regular/Theory Examinations beginning on Monday. These exams will be held at all 17 departments and affiliated institutes of the university, from 10am to 1pm.
The authorities discussed the security arrangements for the regular examinations at the MUET campus with 800 students to appear for the same. The examinations department of the University has issued admit cards to the candidates through their teaching institutes, departments and has informed candidates that without admit cards no candidate would be allowed to appear in examination.
It was also decided that no outsider will be allowed to be in the campus during the timing of the examinations. Senior faculty members from each institute and department would check the admit cards of students at main entry point of the centers. The meeting was attended by Registrar, Dr Muhammed Aslam Uquaili, Dr Muhammad Rafique Abro, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Abdul Karim Baloch and other senior faculty members of the university.
