Pakistan Peoples Party workers at a workers convention here on Saturday through a unanimous resolution demanded dissolution of the district cabinet of PPP Chitral. Convention of PPP workers was held here at the residence of Shahzada Nisar Jilani and presided over by Gul Nawaz Khaki a senior party worker.
The participants mostly senior workers pointed out that due to inefficient cabinet, the party was divided in different groups and senior workers were snub as a result seat of the national assembly was also not won by the PPP candidate.
They said that the workers were being ignored in the distribution of funds in the district. They strongly condemned the action of President PPP Chitral district who issued show cause notice to senior workers of the party like Haji Abdu Rehman and Shahzada Nisar Jilani who also contested election for provincial seat.
They said that this is 6th session of party workers and all times party workers demanding for dissolving present district cabinet. They also demanded for decreasing of wheat rate. Those who spoke on the occasion were Syed Burkhan Shah, Master Hassan, Shah Murad Baig, Nisar Jilani, Ikhlas Husain, Zafar Ali, Haji Abdul Rehman, Noor Azeem Shah, Haji Karam Elahi and Gul Nawaz Khaki. A large number of senior workers of PPP participated in workers convention.
