President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani have expressed their deep grief and sorrow over death of the husband of Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikha Hasina Wajid. In their separate condolence messages, they prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
The President said no doubt, services of Dr Wajid Miah as a nuclear physicist, would be remembered by the people of Bangladesh. The Prime Minister said Dr Wajid Miah served Bangladesh as a distinguished nuclear physicist during his professional career, which would be remembered by all.
