Sami, Wahab shine at CPL
The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is getting a taste of Pakistani bowling at its best, after pacers Mohammad Sami and Wahab Riaz shone with the ball in the ongoing league.
Wahab Riaz started off the onslaught for his side the Barbados Tridents, picking up three wickets in a maiden over, helping his side to restrict Jamaica Tallawahs on 154 at the loss of five wickets.
Riaz grabbed the priced scalp of Jamaica Tallawahs opener Lendl Simmons on 30, while castle fellow Pakistani Imad Wasim and Rovman Powell on nought.
After Riaz performance, it was time for Mohammad Sami to shine. The veteran fast bowler picked up 4 wickets, while leaking only 12 runs in his spell of four overs, allowing his side to claim their first win in the tournament.
Sami picked up the all important wicket of Keiron Pollard on 62, opener Dwayne Smith fell on 20 to Sami, while fellow fast bowler Wahab fell to fellow Pakistani on 1.
