The University of Sindh (SU) has finalised the arrangements to conduct the Primary School Teachers (PST) test in 20 districts of the Province. A joint meeting of the Sindh Education and Literacy department and SU was convened on Monday to discuss the matters related to the test of PST.
The Vice Chancellor, SU, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui presided over the meeting, while Additional Secretary of Education and Literacy, Executive District Officers (EDOs) Education of different Sindh districts, SU professors, who would perform as team leaders at various centres, SU Registrar and members of Steering Committee attended the meeting.
The VC in his address said that Education Department should perform well and select candidates from meritorious schoolteachers. He hoped that officers of education department would co-operate with SU teams in their districts for conducting the PST.
The meeting also decided to conduct PST test, in two phases on different dates. Further, it discussed about security arrangement, increasing the number of SU teams and test centres in various districts. The EDOs in the meeting were advised to take efforts for distribution of admit cards issued by the University and its availability at EDO offices latest by May 14.
