Chairman, Karachi Traders Action Committee, Siddique Memon has said that the 'Night Bazars' will be established in different trade centres in the city from June 01, due to crisis of electricity. He said that after closure of business activities in all major markets in the city, special sales point and stalls would be established that would be operated till 2 am.
Memon said that a delegation of traders and businessmen will also meet Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah to request him for security arrangements for 'Night Bazars'. He said that these bazars would help provide employment opportunities to the jobless youths. Further, the businesses were being badly effected by the electricity crisis and intermittent power break down during the day and evening timings, which, he said has resulted in heavy financial losses to businessmen.
The business community has decided to establish night bazars in different markets as well as in trade and shopping centres in the city to cover the losses and achieve the targets of the businessmen community.
