'Government committed to provide all basic facilities to IDPs'

State Minister for Defence Production Sardar Salim Haider Khan has said that the government is committed to provide all basic facilities to Internally Displaced Peoples (IDPs). Talking to state TV, he said, electricity has been provided to all the camps while schools in various camps started providing education to affected children.
He said electric fans have also been distributed among the Internally Displaced Persons. The relief camps set up at different locations have medical facilities, relief goods, food and other essential items, he added. He appealed to the international NGOs, aid agencies and civil society to donate for IDPs.
